PE 48/101 by Colloids is a high quality black colored pigment masterbatch containing effective substances in specially developed carrier system based on low density polyethylene. It contains a small particle size furnace carbon black. This product also contains a specific antioxidant/thermal stabilizer system intended to reduce gel formation during extrusion. It can be used in high quality silage stretch film using tackifiers such as PIB and requiring excellent dispersion quality and maximum resistance to UV degradation. It has been successfully used in film extrusion down to 20-micron thickness in single layer films (12 micron during subsequent stretching). It has also been used in 3-layer co-extrusion systems. The polymer carrier system has been formulated to give excellent dilution in LLDPE polymers without compromising processability. This product meets the new food contact regulation 2007/19/EC and is therefore suitable for any food contact application.
PACE® PT 4778 by Colloids is a black pigment based masterbatch containing effective substance in PET (copolyester) carrier resin and contains a small particle furnace carbon black with no other fillers or additives. It will give effective black pigmentation with a brown undertone in a variety of PET base polymers and applications. The carbon black used is also effective as a UV stabilizer for PET. This grade can be used for PET based compounds and extrusions requiring effective and economic pigmentation at minimum addition levels. It has a wide degree of suitability for food contact applications.
SB 1423 PE by Colloids is a slip/anti-block agent masterbatch in PE carrier resin. SB 1423 PE by Colloids prevents films sticking together during and after processing. It is compatible with PE, PP and partially compatible with PA and PET. It is suitable for extrusion film, extrusion-profile/ sheet, injection molding, blow molding and compounding applications.
