Dipropylene glycol DME by Clariant is an inert solvent for polyurethane/isocyanate prepolymer in 2c-PUDs. It is used as an environmentally friendly replacement for NMP (N-methyl pyrrolidone). It exhibits chemical stability and low toxicity. It shows high solubility for organometallic compounds. It is especially well suited for API synthesis.
