Dibutyl Sebacate (DBS) by Casda Biomaterials acts as a cold resistant plasticizer for synthetic resins and synthetic rubber. Has good resistance to cold and oil. It is oily, colorless and transparent liquid. Can dissolve in ethyl hydrate, ethyl ether, methyl benzene and other organic solvents. Due to its non-toxic nature, Dibutyl Sebacate (DBS) is also suitable for food packaging.
Dimethyl sebacate (DMS). Acts as a plasticizer, softening agent and solvent for cellulosic resin, polyethylene resin and synthetic rubber. It is oily, colorless and transparent liquid. Is compatible with benzyl cellulose, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetobutyrate, cellulose acetopropionate, chlorinated rubber, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, polyvinyl butyral and vinyl chloride-vinyl, acetate copolymers.
Sebacic acid. Acts as an intermediate. Used for producing polyamide resin such as nylon 1010, nylon 610, nylon 810, and nylon 9 as well as winter tolerant plasticizer DOS and DBS. Can also be used for producing corrosion-retarder, light stablizing agent, epoxy resin curing agent and high temperature resisting lubrication.
