Calprec PR-2E by Cales de Llierca is precipitated calcium carbonate. Used as processing aid and reinforcer filler in rigid PVC. Calprec PR by Cales de Llierca is a generic denomination of a whole range of coated ultrafine precipitated calcium carbonate. Acts as rheology modifiers in adhesives and sealants formulations, particularly PVC plastisols. The produced varieties cover a wide range of rheological values and different degrees of surface treatment. It is also recommended to improve impact strength in plastics. Calprec PR contributes as functional filler to improve the mechanical characteristics as well as appearance (whiteness, gloss, surface finish) of different rigid plastics especially in PVC, that compared to other standard fillers aims to decrease the amount of more expensive additives such as dispersing agents, impact modifiers.
