Acts as a plasticizer. It is available with 0.1% by weight of 1,1,3-tris (2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-butylphenyl) butane. Provides desirable properties like good plasticizer/resin compatibility, low volatility, resistance to extraction by soapy water and good electrical properties.
Compatible with vinyl homopolymer and copolymer resins. Palatinol® TOTM is suitable for use in (alone or in combination with Palatinol® 11P-E for wire insulation and interior automotive applications (instrument panel skins). Palatinol® N stab. by BASF is di-(isononyl) phthalate + 0.25 % Irganox® 1010. Acts as a plasticizer. It is nearly colorless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odor. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticizers. Suitable for PVC. Palatinol® N stab. has a shelf life of one year. Palatinol® 10-P stab. by BASF is di-(2-propylheptyl) phthalate + 0.25 % Irganox® 1010. Acts as a plasticizer. It is nearly colorless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odor. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticizers. Exhibits low volatility and good weathering behaviour. Palatinol® 10-P stab. is Compatible with PVC and PVC copolymers. Suitable for wire & cable, roofing membranes and tarpaulins. It has a shelf life of one year. Palatinol® 111P-I by BASF is a mixture of linear C11 phthalate + 0.1% 1,1,3- Tris (2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-butylphenyl) butane antioxidant. Acts as a plasticizer. It has a higher degree of linearity than many competitive DUPs and thus shows superior performance in efficiency, aging and low temperature flexibility. It can be blended with other linear phthalates or DPHP to improve performance. Its low viscosity provides the plastisol formulator with an option to improve part performance and maintain low plastisol viscosity. Compatible with vinyl compounds. Palatinol® 111P-I is suitable for wire insulation applications and automotives. Palatinol® 911P by BASF is a linear C9 C10 C11 phthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. Offers excellent permanence, low volatility, good efficiency and good retention of physical properties, improvement in oven aging, weathering and fogging performance. Compatible with polyvinyl chloride and copolymer resins. It is suggested for use in sheeting, film extrusion, and vinyl dispersions where good low temperature properties are required and where low volatility ensures a greater permanence. Palatinol® 911P is suitable for use in automotive applications and wire insulation. Palatinol® 810TM by BASF is a linear octyl decyl trimellitate. Acts as a plasticizer. When compared to TOTM and TINTM, formulations made with Palatinol® 810TM exhibit superior low temperature flexibility and resistance to oxidative degradation at high temperatures. This trimellitate offers a unique combination of easy processability, a high degree of permanence and good compatibility. Compatible with polyvinyl chloride resins and copolymers. Suitable for use in wire and cable insulation, refrigerator gasketing, where lacquer mar resistance is a factor, and very low fog automotive components. Palatinol® DOTP by BASF is di-(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is based on 2-ethylhexanol. Compatible with both homopolymer and copolymer vinyl resins. Its addition to plastisols and organosols lowers initial viscosity and leads to longer shelf life. It is used whengood processing characteristics are needed and the finished product requires improved low temperature flexibility and low volatility. Palatinol® DOTP is suitable for use in select consumer goods, film & sheet, coated fabrics, flooring, wall coverings and wire & cable. Palatinol® N by BASF is di-(isononyl) phthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is nearly colorless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odor. Provides good low temperature and low volatility performance. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticizers. Suitable for PVC. Palatinol® N has a shelf life of one year. Palatinol® M by BASF is di-(methyl) phthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. Also suitable for use as inhibitor for peroxides. It is nearly colorless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odor. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticizers. Palatinol® M is compatible with cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. It has a shelf life of one year.
