Lupragen® N 208

Lupragen® N 208 by BASF is a low-VOC reactive catalyst. It is suitable for the production of polyurethane (PU) flexible, semi-rigid and rigid foams. It is firmly integrated into the PU polymer network during foam production so it cannot escape from the foam afterwards. It is used in flexible foams for mattresses and upholstery, more rigid foams for automotive interiors such as dashboards or armrests.

Lupragen® N 700

Lupragen® N 700 by BASF acts as gelling catalyst. It is a very strong heterocyclic base. It acts as accelerator for hardening of epoxy and for foaming of less reactive polyurethane systems (e.g. aliphatic isocyanates). Lupragen® N 700 is used in flexible foam, rigid foam, CASE and microcellular foams. It has a high boiling (>250°C) which diminishes the smell of final products.

Lupragen® N 101

Lupragen® N 101 by BASF is a liquid tertiary ethanol amine. It acts as a gelling catalyst with low residual odor. It inherits both, a tertiary amine and hydroxyl group. It accelerates the gel reaction during the formation of polyurethanes (PU) and free hydroxyl group binds chemically into the PU matrix. Lupragen® N 101 is used in rigid foam, spray foam, slabstock- and molded flexible foam. It is usually mixed with a blowing catalyst like Lupragen® N205.
