Irgaclear® XT 386 by BASF is a high efficiency, latest generation clarifier. It helps to create a large number of unvisible small crystallites (<1 micron) during the cooling of the polypropylene melt at low concentration. It offers excellent “see-through” clarity, good color maintenance during processing, organoleptic, productivity improvement due to reduction of cooling time and reduced risk of plate-out. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li>Its high thermal stability and high chemical integrity enables broader processing window and high performance in recyclates and regrind. </li>
<li>Irgaclear® XT 386 is ideally suited for injection molded. </li>
<li>Recommended optimum concentrations is 0.015 % for polypropylene random copolymer and 0.018 % for polypropylene homopolymer. </li></ul>
