Cesa™ Tough™ A4R

Cesa™ Tough™ A4R by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is an additive for recycling. This advanced polyolefin additive technology is developed to significantly enhance the environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) of recycled high-density polyethylene (r-HDPE), enabling increased use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content in demanding applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It modifies polymer rheology and strengthens polymer architecture to improve resistance against degradation and stress cracking in aggressive service environments, while maintaining the recyclability of the material.</li> <li>It improves overall mechanical and processing properties by increasing melt flow by over 20% for enhanced processability, strain at break by more than 35% to reduce the risk of material failure, and impact strength by over 140% to extend product durability and service life.</li> <li>These enhancements allow manufacturers to push PCR content further without compromising performance, durability, or regulatory compliance.</li> <li>It is used in demanding applications such as cable jacketing, piping, and load-bearing packaging.</li> <li>Cesa™ Tough™ A4R meets EU regulations as well as sustainability goals.</li></ul>

Hiformer Slip + Antistatic

Hiformer Slip + Antistatic by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a slip and antistatic agent designed to deliver practicality, consistency, and operational reliability in BOPP film production. Developed in a carrier that is fully compatible with both the extrusion process and the resin, it enables the production of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films with a coefficient of friction (CoF) between 0.20 and 0.35 while ensuring excellent static control. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>These features help maximize efficiency during downstream processes such as printing, filling, and conversion, while supporting a cleaner, more stable, and predictable production environment.</li> <li>It is dosed directly into a flange located at the feed zone through a cannula connected to a high precision dosing unit. </li> <li>It enables consistent dosing repeatability through a high-precision dosing unit.</li> <li>Its low LDR minimizes impact on the customer's process and provides greater CoF stability throughout the film. </li> <li>In addition, Hiformer Slip + Antistatic enhances optical properties such as gloss and transparency while increasing productivity through reduced shear, as demonstrated by higher machine RPM.</li> <li>Recommended dosage level is 0.3-0.5%.</li></ul>
