Topanol™ CA by aurorium is 1,1,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-butylphenyl) butane, which acts as a high molecular weight phenolic antioxidant. Possesses very good responses to thioester and phosphite synergists. Topanol™ CA can be used for LDPE, polypropylene, PVC plasticizers, DHPE, HIPS, ABS and MBS. Topanol™ CA-SF by aurorium is a high molecular weight hindered phenolic antioxidant. It has low volatility & does not stain, making it useful in polymers intended for a very wide range of end uses.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is suitable for polymer systems that are sensitive to thermal and oxidative degradation due to free radical and peroxide formation.</li>
<li>It extends the service life of polymers that are used at elevated temperatures.</li>
<li>It has high efficiency compared to other hindered phenols, which can be enhanced by using it with secondary antioxidants such as phosphites & thioesters that produce synergistic effects, leading to very effective and economical formulations.</li>
<li>Topanol™ CA-SF is recommended for PVC plasticizers & compounding, primarily for stabilizing plasticizers in automotive wire and cable applications.</li>
<li>It is also used in nylons & polyamides (PA), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), methacrylate butadiene styrene (MBS), and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) styrenic polymers.</li></ul>
