Morflex™ 560 by aurorium is used as a plasticizer. Provides very good compatibility and efficiency properties of monomerics together with the permanence properties of many polymerics. Can be used in variety of markets including automotive and furniture upholstery, wire coatings and gasketing materials. Monostearyl Citrate (MSC) is a mixture of mono- and distearyl citrate esters which show utility as an oil-soluble chelating agent.
The long carbon chains render it soluble in a variety of oils while the free carboxyl groups confer the chelation effect.
In many cases the shelf life of oils may be poor owing to the presence of trace amounts of metals such as iron. In these cases MSC serves as a stabilizer through chelation of the metal.
In other cases poor shelf life may result from other causes in addition to the trace metal. In these cases MSC may act synergistically with an antioxidant to stabilize the oil. Dibutyl Sebacate. Used as plasticizer for vinyl food contact films used in refrigeration. Butyl Phthalyl Butyl Glycolate. Used as a plasticizer in food-packaging material, PVC tubing and food-packaging materials. Morflex™ 1129 by aurorium is a specially purified form of dimethyl isophthalate, an intermediate in the synthesis of polyesters. It works by retarding crystallization for better clarity and strength. It is used in staple polyester and for polyester bottle resin. Morflex™ 1129 finds application in wires and cables. Morflex™ 150 by aurorium is dicyclohexyl phthalate. It is used as a plasticizer in heat-sealable films and as a co-plasticizer in polyvinyl chloride. Morflex™ 150 finds application in wires and cables. Morflex™ 530 by aurorium is triisodecyl trimellitate which acts as a plasticizer. Exhibits high efficiency and good permanence.
