NcendX™ P-30 by Albemarle is a proprietary halogen-free, phosphorus-based flame retardant. It belongs to the chemical family of organophosphates. It offers excellent hydrolytic stability for sensitive applications like PC (polycarbonate), and very good thermal stability. It possesses better thermal melt stability and lower volatility than resorcinol diphenyl phosphate (RDP). It exhibits low migration/plate-out tendency and easy colorability. It produces less volatiles during compounding. NcendX™ P-30 is suitable for PC/ABS, PPO/HIPS and other polymers.
