GreenCrest® by Albemarle is a sustainable brominated polymeric flame retardant. Its unique chemistry imparts favorable overall mechanical and physical properties. It has high efficiency with excellent thermal and color stability. Its high purity enables its introduction during the polymerization stage while keeping the EPS properties comparable with HP900. It is a suitable alternative to HBCD. GreenCrest® is compatible with expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS). It complies with EN ISO 11925-2, DIN 4102 and RoHS.
