Plastisan S is a high performance halogen-free flame retardant melamine salt. Offers improved flowability and good stability. It decomposes to gases under high gas yields when high temperatures are reached. The liberated gases are non-burning and non-toxic as nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water. It does not adversely affect pigmentation of finished articles. Plastisan S is suitable for plastic based applications. Meets UL 94 V0, V1 and V2 flame rating. Recommended dosage levels are 10-15% in PA 6, PA 6-6 & PA 66/6, 15-20% in PA 11-12 and 15-20% in PE. Plastisan XF is a high performance halogen-free flame retardant melamine salt.
