YAYANG™ Y289 by YAYANG Global is a sparkle-blue colored interference pearl pigment. It consists of mica flakes coated with rutile titanium dioxide. An optical interference phenomenon is caused due to light distance gap between reflected light from titanium dioxide (high refracted index) and mica (low refracted index). This reflected light is complementing to the transmitted color. YAYANG™ Y289 is used in plastic applications.
