YAYANG™ Y249 supplied by YAYANG Global is a sparkle-gold colored interference pearl pigment. It consists of mica flakes coated with rutile titanium dioxide. An optical interference phenomenon is caused due to light distance gap between reflected light from titanium dioxide (high refracted index) and mica (low refracted index). This reflected light is complementing to the transmitted color. YAYANG™ Y249 is designed for plastic applications.
