PUREstab 1425 by Vyridis is a phenolic primary antioxidant for plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers, and rosin ester tackifier resins as well as esterification catalyst for rosin esters, PET and other thermoplastic polyesters. It offers shorter reaction times, reduced discoloration, low acid number and improved heat stability with very low oral toxicity. It is non-discoloring, has excellent resistance to migration and low-volatility. PUREstab 1425 imparts faster solid-state polymerization, improved color, and reduced generation of acetaldehyde in PET. Its recommended dosage level is 0.05-1.0% for rosin esters and 0.01-0.2% for PET.
