Product obtained from the blending of selected polyolefines. Acts as a matting agent masterbatch. Incompatibility of the polymers gives the skin layer of BOPP films the properties of low gloss and haze which are required in matt films. Is formulated with synergetic additives that allow longer productions free of die build-up scales. Used in skin layer of BOPP films which are intended mainly for use in applications of paper lamination. Matt layer should measure a minimum of 2.5 µm in order to obtain the desired optical properties. Correct adjustment of the variables in the processing conditions also plays an important part in determining these properties. Complies with the regulations governing its use in food packaging applications.
