MAPICO™ Yellow 1075A

MAPICO™ Yellow 1075A by Venator Materials is ferric oxide hydrate (FeOOH) manufactured in the martin process and micronized for ease of dispersion in plastics systems. Is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a clean shade and low oil absorption and good heat resistance that disperses easily on high-speed equipment in plastics. Used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance. Exhibits color stability in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). Meets or exceeds ASTM C979-82 standards for color pigments used in cement. Recommended, owing to its sufficient purity, to be used as a colorant in cosmetic, animal and pet food applications and in packaging or articles that come in contact with food (21CFR). Offers reliability and consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight and UV radiation, and alkali, chemical and weather resistancy. MAPICO™ Yellow 1075A is suggested for rubber and plastics applications.
