MAPICO™ Yellow 1000-HRA

Ferric oxide hydrate reacted with aluminum oxide (Fe2O3•H2O•Al2O3) and micronized for ease of dispersion. MAPICO™ Yellow 1000-HRA by Venator Materials is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a very clean shade, and bright masstone color and strong & clean tint designed for LDPE and LLDPE plastic concentrate and compounding applications. Possesses extended heat stability. Improves extruder screen life and increases ultraviolet resistance of the thermoplastic. Exhibits color stability in processing temperatures below 245°C (475°F). Meets or exceeds ASTM C979-82 standards for color pigments used in cement. MAPICO™ Yellow 1000-HRA by Venator Materials is recommended, owing to its sufficient purity, to be used as a colorant in cosmetic, animal and pet food applications and in packaging or articles that come in contact with food (21CFR). Offers reliability and consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight and UV radiation, and alkali, chemical and weather resistancy. Suggested for rubber and plastics applications.
