Hollow silicate ceramic sphere. It includes, many advantages like filler loading as well as improved rheology, less shrinkage & warping, improved physical properties in molding, casting & laminates, reduced water absorption, better flow characteristics, improved flame retardance, improved chemical resistance, are directly attributed to the spherical nature of the material. It is inert, glass hard and free flowing as well as light in weight. It has typical applications in PVC flooring, SBR latex carpet backing, phenolics, epoxies, cast polyesters, syntactic foams, BMC, SMC and fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) and automotive sound damping sheets.
