PowerSorb™ 2908 by TinToll (SINOPCC Group) is a n-hexadecyl-3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoate. It is a non-discoloring light stabilizer. It functions by scavenging free radicals formed during the photo-degradation of plastic materials. It can be combined with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS). It shows resistance to extraction. It shows good compatibility with polyolefin substrates. It is suitable for polypropylene, TPO thick-section parts, polyethylene (HDPE, LLDPE and LDPE) moldings, films and tapes. PowerSorb™ 2908 is FDA-approved.
