PEPTON® 66

PEPTON® 66 by Thomas Swan is a free-flowing peptizer. It is a blend of 40% dibenzamido diphenyl disulphide (DBD) and organo metal complex on low melt carriers in a pellet form. It has low-dust pellets for cleaner and automated processing.

• It is effective in mastication at 70°C and above and shows best performance at 150 - 160°C.
• The peptizing action is inhibited by sulfur, so compounded rubbers undergo no further viscosity change on storage.
• Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5 phr for natural rubber and 1.5-3.0 phr for unsaturated synthetic elastomers.
• PEPTON® 66 has a shelf life of 4 years.
