PEPTON® 62

PEPTON® 62 by Thomas Swan is a peptizer. It is a blend of 40% dibenzamido diphenyl disulphide (DBD) and organometal complex with paraffin oil. Reduces dusting and provides the best incorporation in the rubber mix. It is dust-free and oil treated for safer handling, uniform dispersion and energy efficient mixing.

• It is ready to use and compatible with the majority of open or internal mixing equipment.
• It is effective in mastication at 70°C and above and shows best performance at 150 - 160°C.
• Its recommended dosage level is 0.2 to 0.5 phr for natural rubber and 1.5 to 3.0 phr for synthetic elastomers.
