Kristalex™ F85 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is an impact modifier. It is a water-clear, color stable, low molecular weight thermoplastic hydrocarbon polymer based on purified 8-9 carbon aromatic monomers. It offers good thermal stability and an intermediate softening point. It is compatible with SBR and Styrene based block copolymers, neoprene, nitrile, polybutadiene, acrylic polymers, chlorinated rubber, EVA resins (ethylenevinyl acetate copolymers), styrenated alkyds, vinylated alkyds, drying oil alkyds and rosin ester resins. Kristalex™ F85 Hydrocarbon Resin is suitable for plastics modification, sealants and caulks as well as packaging-, non food contact-, specialty tape and tires. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
