SUMILIZER® GM (F)

SUMILIZER® GM (F) by Sumitomo Chemical is 2-tert-butyl-6-(3-tert-butyl-2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzyl)-4-methylphenyl acrylate. Acts as an antioxidant. Used for stabilization of thermal degradation caused by heat or mechanical stress of polymers during processing under oxygen-deficient conditions. It helps trap alkyl radicals to prevent gel formation of polymers. Exhibits excellent heat resistance at elevated temperatures during polymer processing, minimizes Fish-Eye gels of final product generated during processing and meets FDA and EU requirements for food contact. SUMILIZER® GM (F) is compatible with ABS, SBS, SBR, EPDM, HIPS, SBC and PE, PP. Recommended dosage is 1000-3000 ppm in ABS, SBS, SBR and 500-1000 ppm in PE, PP.
