SUMILIZER® GA-80

SUMILIZER® GA-80 by Sumitomo Chemical is 3,9-Bis[2-[3-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-propionyloxy]-1,1-dimethylethyl]-2,4,8,10-tetraoxaspiro-[5.5] undecane. Acts as a primary antioxidant. Exhibits low volatility and meets FDA and EU requirements for food contact. SUMILIZER® GA-80 is compatible with PP, HDPE, PU and PA. Provides excellent synergistic long-term heat stabilization with thioether type antioxidants. In addition, it shows excellent resistance to NO_x gas discoloration and it has low volatility at elevated temperatures compared to other commercial phenolic antioxidants. Recommended dosage in PP, HDPE and PA is 200-2000 ppm and 0.5-1.5% in PU.
