STRUKTOL® TR 229 by Struktol is a blending aid, compatibilizer with processing lubricant. It is effective at binding filler materials to the polymer system by virtue of its adhesive nature while the lubricant part provides improved processing characteristics of filled & unfilled polyamides and PC/ABS blends. STRUKTOL® TR 229 shows improved mixing and reduced die build-up (die bearding) and die drool. It is suitable for injection molding applications. It is excellent for use in recycling of Nylon 6 and 6,6. The recommended dosage level is 0.6-3.5%. It is sanctioned by FDA. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
