SONGLIGHT® 7700 by Songwon is bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) sebacate. It is used as a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-H type. It protects the polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It is effective for use in PP, PE, ethylene-propylene copolymer, terpolymer, polyurethane, ABS, PS, HIPS, SAN and PVC. It can be used alone or in combination with higher molecular weight HALS for the UV stabilization of both thick as well as thin cross section articles including tapes, films, automotive parts, and lawn furniture. SONGLIGHT® 7700 also used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, higher molecular weight HALS, and UVA’s to optimize performance in outdoor use.
