SILMASTAB AQ1401

SILMASTAB AQ1401 by Silma is a lead-free, non-toxic, thermal stabilizer pack suitable for LSFR PVC compounds. In powder form, it is easy to disperse during the production of dry blend. It is a stabilizer specific for low smoke, low HCl emission PVC compounds with a high content of flame retardant fillers. It is applicable for compounds containing milled natural fillers like brucite, hydromagnesite, huntite, magnesite, with the specific purpose of avoiding the well-known typical fluctuation and inconsistency of final color. It is specially designed for PVC compounds containing the relevant amount of magnesium-based flame retardant filler, insulations as well as sheathing applications. The recommended dosage level is 4-6 phr (for PVC for 70°C cables). SILMASTAB AQ1401 has a shelf life of one year.
