SILMALINK AR1061

SILMALINK AR1061 by Silma is a liquid one-pack of multiple additives for one-step MONOSIL process of production of XLPE and XL-EPR compounds for cable applications. It provides fast ambient curing performance.

• It works optimally in combination with SILMASTAB AL2638, a polyolefin masterbatch formulated with stabilizers, antioxidants, and processing aids.
• It significantly increases the cross-linking speed of XLPE cable insulation at ambient conditions.
• It is commonly delivered under nitrogen and injected into single-screw extruders.
• The recommended dosage is 0.9% to 1.2% depending on the thickness of insulation.
• It is a mixture of vinyl silane, radical initiator and tin catalyst.
• SILMALINK AR1061 has a shelf life of 1 year.
