SILMALINK AR1036 by Silma is a liquid mixture of vinyl silane, radical initiator and tin catalyst. It is designed to be used in MONOSIL process to produce crosslinkable XLPE and XL-EPR for cables.
- It is pumped under nitrogen and injected into single screw extruders during cable production.
- It works in combination with SILMASTAB AL2638 the polyolefin masterbatch of stabilizers, antioxidants and processing aids.
- The recommended dosage is 0.9% to 1.2% depending on the thickness of insulation.
- SILMALINK AR1036 has a shelf life of 1 year.
