SILMALINK AR1025 by Silma is a solvent-free, liquid reactive bi-functional polysiloxane used as an additive for HFFR thermoplastic olefins (EVA, LDPE, LLDPE) and peroxide-cured EVA or rubber compounds.
  • It is suitable as a processing aid in high-loading MDH/ATH HFFR cable compounds, helping reduce die drool and energy consumption.
  • It improves flame retardant properties such as char formation, heat and smoke release, and limiting oxygen index (L.O.I.).
  • SILMALINK AR1025 reacts directly with fillers, enhancing compatibility with thermoplastic resins or rubber, providing lubrication and improved surface properties.
  • It can also be used in XLPE as a silane synergist without affecting mechanical properties.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.5-3%.
  • It has a shelf life of 1 year.
