SILMALINK AR1020

SILMALINK AR1020 by Silma is a liquid mixture of vinyl silane, radical initiator and tin catalyst. It is especially designed for use in Monosil process to produce crosslinkable XLPE and XL-EPR compounds for cable applications.

• It can perfectly work in combination with SILMASTAB AL2638, the polyolefin masterbatch of stabilizers, antioxidants and processing aids.
• SILMALINK AR1020 is particularly suitable for insulation compound applied on direct contact with conductors like red copper.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.9-1.2% depending on the thickness of insulation, on the reactivity of base LLDPE used into Monosil process, and the dosage of SILMASTAB AL2638 stabilizer masterbatch.
• It has a shelf life of 1 year.
