POLYBOND® 3200 polymer modifier

POLYBOND® 3200 polymer modifier by SI Group is used as a high efficiency coupling agent for glass-filled polypropylene. It provides improved physical properties including strength and for cellulose fiber-filled polypropylene leading to reduced water uptake as well as higher flexural/tensile strengths. Also acts as a coupling agent for mineral-filled polypropylene which provides improved strength and impact properties. It also functions as a process aid for halogen-free, flame retardant (HFFR) wire & cable compounds which further gives improved dispersion of flame retardant along with improved mechanical properties. This additive acts as a compatibilizer for blends of polypropylene/polyamide blends giving enhanced hydrolytic stability. The tie-layer component giving improved compatibility between multilayer polar and non-polar materials. POLYBOND® 3200 polymer modifier offers higher coupling efficiency vs. lower functionality products which further reduces raw material costs.
