POLYBOND® 3150 polymer modifier

POLYBOND® 3150 polymer modifier by SI Group is used as a coupling agent for glass-filled and mineral-filled polypropylene. It improves physical properties, strength and impact properties. In cellulose fiber-filled polypropylene this additive offers reduced water uptake and higher flexural/tensile strength. POLYBOND® 3150 polymer modifier acts as a compatibilizer for blends of recycled nylon and polypropylene which further gives enhanced hydrolytic stability & strength properties. Its tie-layer component gives improved compatibility between multilayer polar and non-polar materials. This additive offers moderate coupling efficiency and melt flow rate allowing use with processing equipment which does not have low feed rate capability. It is FDA approved.
