Shepherd Black 430 by Shepherd Color is a jet-black powder produced by high temperature calcination. It is chemically inert and resistant to acids, bases, solvent & heat. It is generally used in applications where resistance to heat, light, and weather are required.
  • It has smaller particle size than Black 1G.
  • It exhibits high temperature stability, good UV- & visible opacity, exceptional durability and hiding power.
  • It is optimized for balance of masstone jetness and tint strength.
  • It is non-bleeding, non-migratory and non-warping in polyolefins.
  • Shepherd Black 430 is suitable for most resin systems and polymers.
  • It is recommended for engineering polymers and transportation & ACE plastics.
  • It is FDA compliant for coloring articles used for producing, packaging and transporting food.
