Sanitized® T 20-19

Sanitized® T 20-19 by Sanitized is a mildly cationic antimicrobial agent with amine-like odor. It is suitable for coatings and PU foams based on TDI or MDI of varying density and hardness. It provides a reliable and durable bacteriostatic effect against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It acts on the bacterial cell membrane, causing cell lysis and discharge of cell contents. It reduces microbial odor, ensuring lasting hygienic freshness and wear comfort. It offers excellent temperature stability.

• It is used in technical applications such as mattresses, upholstery, bath and kitchen sponges.
• It is dermatologically tested, easily biodegradable, and free from absorbable organic halides (AOX).
• Substrates protected with Sanitized® T 20-19 have excellent skin tolerance (OECD 406 and RIPT test).
• The recommended dosage level is 0-6-1.0% related to the final weight of the foam.
• When pre-disperse in polyol, good performance can be achieved with a concentration of up to 25%.
• It is bluesign® and US EPA approved, EU BPR compliant, and is accepted for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
