Dithiocarbamate. Used as an accelerator. Offers fast cure rate. Reduces or eliminate iridescence in production parts. Exhibits low heat build-up (low hysterisis) and very good compression set in natural rubber – particularly in thicker crosssections that may get over cured. Reacts so rapidly with sulfur that it is necessary to use the rubber-bound form to prevent premature reactions with sulfur or sulfur-bearing chemicals.
