Aktiplast® T

Aktiplast® T by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a peptizer for natural-and isoprene rubber as well as for their blends with other synthetic rubbers. It also functions as a processing promoter for synthetic rubber and activator with delayed action. It exhibits lower melting point and reduces the mixing time. It prolongs the scorch time and also acts as a dispersing agent for all fillers. It activates and accelerates the vulcanization due to its zinc content. It improves the flow characteristics of the uncured compound and storage stability. It exhibits no adverse effect on rubber-to-metal bonding. Aktiplast® T finds application in expanded rubber articles, solid rubber, molded- and extruded products. Recommended dosage level in NR, IR, NBR, SBR is 1-3 phr and in EPM, HNBR is 2-3 phr. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
