Aflux® 42 M by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) acts as a dispersing agent, lubricant and processing promoter. It is an excellent dispersant of fillers and chemicals. It increases the plasticity of the green compound and improves flow properties.
- It enhances injection capacity and speed in the manufacturing of profiles and gives a smooth surface finish to injection moldings and calendered sheets.
- It exhibits no effect on vulcanization characteristics.
- It is used for synthetic rubbers like SBR, NBR, CR and EPDM.
- Aflux® 42 M is designed for footwear, technical molded and extruded products.
- Recommended dosage level in NBR is 2-4 phr, EPDM is 2-5 phr, SBR is 2-5 phr, BR is 2-5 phr and CR is 2-5 phr.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
