Reagens SL/48

Reagens SL/48 by Reagens is a high efficiency, solvent-free, barium-zinc based stabilizer for PVC. It is suitable for suitable for extrusion and injection molding of semi-rigid and plasticized PVC, particularly for the production of shoes, boots & flexible hoses. It imparts good initial color, good transparency and excellent long term heat stability with most types of PVC resins, and can be used also in plastisol applications. It provides good processing properties and shows low plate-out tendency. The addition of an epoxy compound, such as Reaflex EP/6 (about 2-4 phr), improves the long term heat stability and weathering performance. The recommended dosage level is 1.5-3 phr. The shelf life is 12 months.
