TUFRov® 4589

TUFRov® 4589 by PPG Fiber Glass is a tailor-made roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Exhibits excellent processing characteristics with low fuzz properties enabling higher throughput. Inside and outside payout product available for top quality tape production. Provides excellent tensile strength compared to competitive LFT products with successful burst tests for extended cycle times. Complete filament spread results in excellent impregnation and dispersion. Its tailored chemistry allows for enhanced mechanical properties for long fiber PE processes such as granulate long fiber thermoplastic (G-LFT), direct long fiber thermoplastic (D-LFT) and thermoplastic tape. TUFRov® 4589 by PPG Fiber Glass is used in pipe applications.
