Agilon® 458 by PPG Industries is designed to improve the performance and processing of of industrial rubber and tire. It contains highly dispersible silica (HDS). Provides increased silica-loading in tread- & non-tread compounds and meets demand for safer, environmentally friendly products by lowering rolling resistance and enhancing tire control and traction.
- Offers good stiffness & handling, reinforcing capability and fuel efficiency.
- It reduces VOC emissions and increases production efficiencies by eliminating the in-situ silica.
- It enables high temperature mixing without increasing viscosity or causing premature vulcanization.
- It eliminates extrusion inefficiencies due to porosity concerns.
- It improves shelf life of uncured rubber and extends tread life so that tires last longer.
- Agilon® 458 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
