Dioctyl adipate (DOA) First

Supplied byPolytrans- Last Updated on Jul 20, 2025

Dioctyl adipate (DOA) First by Polytrans acts as a cold-resistant plasticizer. It shows good lubricity when processed. Possesses high plasticizing rate and a little color change at high temperature. Provides good softness at low temperature and lightproofing. It does not dissolve in water but dissolves in trichloromethane, petrol, vinyl acetate, methanol, methyl-benzene, mineral oil, vegetable oil, and other organic solvents. The compounds made with it have low viscosity at the beginning and a good stability of viscosity. Used for polyvinyl chloride, chloroethylene copolymer, polystyrene, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber. Dioctyl adipate (DOA) First can be used in combination with main plasticizers such as DOP, DBP for making cold-resistant agricultural plastic thin film, packing membrane for freezing food, cable, sheet materials, water pipes in the open air etc.
