SL PP LBS 5

SL PP LBS 5 by Polytechs is a masterbatch containing 5 % of a high molecular weight amide in PP homopolymer (MI 2) film grade. It has a low blooming slip effect and does not cause whitening of the film, which is not always the case when using standard erucamide masterbatch. Hot slip properties of the BOPP film are also improved when using AB PP LBS 5 compared to films containing standard slip masterbatch. It is used in CPP/BOPP films where low coefficient of friction is required. AB PP LBS 5 is added to the core layer of coextruded films. Typical percentage of AB PP LBS 5 in the core layer is 2.5 to 5%.
