AF PE GE 15 DA

AF PE GE 15 DA by Polytechs is a masterbatch containing 15 % glycerol polyester in LDPE base resin. Glycerol polyester rapidly migrates to film surface, reducing the contact angle of condensed water droplets, giving anti-fogging effect to polyethylene films. AF PE GE 15 DA is compatible with PE, PP or EVA resins. It is used for food packaging films including kitchen film rolls and supermarket tray wraps (raw meat, chicken, etc) to be stored at very low temperature (3-4°C) as well as in the manufacture of agricultural films such as greenhouse tunnels, where it is usually added to inner skin layer of tunnel. It is typically used at between 1 and 3 % depending on polymer types, film thickness and environment conditions. It is allowed by FDA and european regulations for applications in indirect contact with food. It has shelf life of 12 months.
