Natural silica (30%) based antiblocking masterbatch in a LDPE carrier. It is used to prevent blocking of PE films during wind-up and to allow easy opening of PE bags and sachets. The type of silica used gives excellent surface friction to LDPE & LLDPE films without adversely effecting the film transparency. AB PE 30N is compatible with other polyolefines also. It can be used in both cast and blown film processes. It is suitable for food contact applications. The used concentrations of AB PE 30N are between 0.4 and 2%.
