Natural silica based (15%) antiblocking masterbatch in LDPE carrier resin. It is used to prevent blocking of PE films during wind-up and to allow easy opening of PE bags and sachets. The type of silica used efficiently reduces the coefficient of friction of LDPE and LLDPE films without adversely affecting the film transparency. AB PE 15 N is compatible with other polyolefines also. In this case, used concentrations of AB PE 15 N are between 1.3 and 7%. It can be used in both cast and blown film processes. It is suitable for food contact applications.
