Non-heavy metal or oxide based additive masterbatch containing effective substance in PE carrier resins. Acts as an oxo-degradable additive. It is thermal and UV stable. It is extremely cost-effective also. Used to chemically degrade polyethylene resins in the presence of sunlight, oxygen, and heat through a chemical process. Provides excellent thermal stability, processability and controlled degradability of the polymer without issues such as yellowing, odors, or pre-degradation. Releases eco-friendly by-products released into the environment. Can be processed at temperatures typical of polyethylene using standard extrusion equipment. Recommended for polyethylene film applications such as T-shirt bags or grocery bags, both manufactured with TiO2 and CaCO3. The recommended dosage levels for film extrusion are 1% depending on the degradation requirements and environmental conditions.
