MAPICO™ Tan 10AG by Oxerra (formerly Cathay Industries) is a high performance, heat stable, light tan ferrite pigment with acicular particle shape. It is produced by the high temperature reaction of iron oxide and zinc oxide (Fe2O3-ZnO). It offers ease of dispersion, color consistency and stable performance in plastics and other high-heat applications where high temperature resistance and weather durability is required.
- It is used in resin systems such as LLDPE & vinyl, engineering polymers and silicone rubber compounds.
- It is inert and resistant against chemicals, alkali & dilute acids.
- MAPICO™ Tan 10AG provides ultraviolet screening, non-migration, bleed resistance and quality assurance.
